(c) Application for per-mits shall be made in writing at <br />least thirty days in adv~uce of the date of the display. After such <br />privilege has been granted, sale, possession, use a~d distribution of <br />fireworks For such display shall be lawful For that purpose only. No <br />permit granted hereunder shall be transferable. <br /> <br /> (d) The sale, possession, use and distribution of fireworks <br />for display purposes shall be conducted so as to be reasonably safe <br />vo persons and property. Evidence that the sale, possession, use and <br />distribution of fireworks for display purposes hss been conducted in <br />accordance with the applicable standard specified for this section in <br />Article 31 of the Fire Prevention Code shall be evidence that such <br />sale, possession, use and distribution of fireworks for display pur- <br />poses provide reasonable safety to persons and property~ <br /> <br />Sec. 11-26. Bond and Responsibility for Fireworks Display Required° <br /> <br /> (a) Each applicant for a permit shall be required to give <br />a bond in a sum not less thmn $1,000.00 conditioned on compliance <br />~.~%th the provisimns of this law and the regulations adopted hereunder, <br />provided no govenmr~ntat agency shall be required to file such bond. <br /> <br /> (b) Before ~j permit for a pyrotechnic display shall be <br />issued~ the person, firm~ or corporation making application therefor <br />shall furnish proof of finsncial responsibility to satisfy claims for <br />aamages to persons or property arising out of ~rj act or omission on <br />the part of such person, fire, or corporation or any agent or en~oloyee <br />thereof,~ in such amount, character, and fora as the Chief of the Fire <br />Division shall determine ~o be necessary for the protection of the Public, <br /> <br />Sec. 11-27o Disposal of Unfired Fireworks, <br /> <br /> ~lY fireworks that remain unfired after the display is <br />concluded shall be immediately disposed of in a way safe for the par- <br />ticular type of fireworks remaining. <br /> <br />Sec. 11-28. Seizure of ~reworkSo <br /> <br /> The Chief of the Fire Division or the Chief of Police shall <br />seize, tske, remove, or cause to be removed at the expense of the owner <br />all stocks of fireworks offered or exposed for sale~ stored~ or held <br />in violation of this article. <br /> <br />Sec. 11-29, Enforcement° <br /> <br /> ~ne provisions of this article may be ~nforced by any <br />member of the Fire Division or the Police Division° <br /> <br /> <br />
