Such examinations shall be given without charge <br />to the homeo~,~er. All other regulations governing <br />re-examination shall be as set forth in this article. <br /> <br />Sec. 9-42. Application for examination; when <br /> certificate of aampevency issued. <br /> <br /> Every person desiring to supervise Or to work <br />as an electrician shall ~ke ~,~ritten application <br />to the board of electricial exa~ners for an <br />ex&ruination as to his proficiency and capacity to <br />do such work~ and if upon examination the applicant <br />shows h~mself competent and qualified to do elec- <br />trical work in the panner req~_v~d by this article, <br />the board of electrical examiners shall deliver to <br />such applicant a certificate to tha~ affect. <br /> <br />Sea. ~-50. Bonds of master electricians. <br /> <br /> Every master electrician doing electricial <br />work within the city shall give a bond of five <br />thousand dollars in the rom approved by the city <br />attorney~ payable ~o the city with surety condi- <br />tioned to inda~nlty and save harmless the city as <br />well as any other person fr~n all expense and <br />damage that may be can~ed by any negligent, defec- <br />tive or ir~dequate work done in the city under his. <br />certificate ar~ to secure the payment of fees and <br />permits. ~nenany electrical work done by a master <br />electrician or person working for him shall be <br />deame~ defective or inadequate by the electricial <br />inspector ar~ the contractor or electrician shall <br />fail to revise or put such w~rk in proper con- <br />dition to the satisfaction of the electricial in- <br />spector within ten days after ~itten notice from <br />the electricial inspector so to do, the bond s~all <br />be forfeited, and the principal ~nd surety on such <br />bond shall be and become ligole for an~ shall pay <br />so much on account of such bo¥~d as may be necessary <br /> <br /> <br />
