T~at section 19-48 of the Code of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virgir~a, 1961, be a~ended and <br />reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 19-48. Petit larceny. <br /> <br />Any persoll who: <br /> <br /> (1) Co~.~its larceny from the person of <br />another of money or other thins of value of less <br />t~an five dollars; or, <br /> <br /> (2) Co~,mits sZmple larcer~- nov frmn the <br />person of ano~iner of goods and chattels of the <br />value of less than one hundred doll~o~s, shall <br />be dee~aed guilty of petit larceny, ~£nich shall <br />oe pur~shgole as a misdeleanor. <br /> <br />2.
