Use of chemical test to deterc~ine alcohol in blood; procedure; cosvs; evidence; suspermion of license for reza~sal to submit to test. (a) As used in this section "license" mea~s any operator's, c?muffeur's or learner's per- mit or lice~se authorizir~s the operation of a motor vehicle upon the ~chways. (b) Any person, ~aether lice~med by the state or not, who operates a raotor ~-ehicle upon a public t~i~way in this city on a~/ a~%er July one, nineteen hundred sixty-four, sb~lt be deep, ed thereby, as a condition] of such opera- tion, to have conse~ted to i~ve a sample of o_is bleed taken for a chemical test 5o deter- mine the alcoholic conserm t~]ereof if such per- son is arrested for a violation of section 18-52 ~ithin t~zo hours of the alt~ged offense. (c) If a person, after beinS s~r-ested for a violation of section 18-52 s~nd after havir~ been advised by the arresting officer that a person %,gno opera%es a mosor vehicle upon a public highway in tlnis s~ate shall oe deemed thereby, as a condition of such operati~on, to have consented to have a sample of his tiood taken for a che~£cal test to detem~ine the alcoholic content thereof and tb~t 5he ur~ea- sonabte ref~dsal ~o do so constitutes grounds for the revocation of the privile~e of operating -14-
