Same - Power to accept, etc. <br /> gifts; expenditure of non- <br /> budg~tory funds. <br /> <br /> ~he law library bo~rd shall have the power to <br />accept; administer and expend for operating expenses <br />funds received as gifts, including gifts in trust. <br /> <br /> Should t~e law library board receive and <br />expend for-operating expenses any funds not in- <br />cluded in its budget as approved by the city council, <br />the city council may direct that the amount appro- <br />priated from city funds be reduced by the amount so <br />expended from outside such budge~. <br /> <br />Sec. 1SA-iS. Appointment of librarian, etc. <br /> <br /> The librarian, assistants and employees of <br />the Portsmouth Law Library shall be appointed by <br />the city manager after consultation with the law <br />library board or the librarian in the manner <br />prescribed by the Charter for the appointment of <br />officers and employees of the city. Tile board <br />may appoint the librarian to the office of <br />secretary of the board. <br /> <br />Sec. 15A-14.
