' <br /> <br /> Be it ~rdained by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia: . -. <br /> <br /> 1. Section 87 of the License Tax Ordinance <br />of the City of Portsmouth, 1965, be amended ana~ <br />reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sec. 87. Professional Occupations: <br /> <br /> Every person conducting or engaging in any of <br />the following occupations shall pay an annual license <br />tax of $S0.00 for the first $S,000 and $~60 for 'each <br />additional S100 of gross receipts of the occupation, <br />as hereinabove defined, in said occupation for the <br />previous calendar year: <br /> <br /> public accountant <br />An advertising agent or firm <br />An air conditioning engineer <br />An appraiser or evaluator of re~l estate for <br /> others for compensation <br />An architect, landscaper <br />An artist <br />An assayer - . <br />An attorney at law <br />An auctioneer, all ~ypes <br />An auditing company or firm <br /> broker, any type other than pawnbroker and <br /> loan broker listed elsewhere <br /> blue printer <br /> bookkeeper, public <br /> chemical engineer <br /> chemist <br /> chiropodist <br /> chiropractor <br /> civil engineer <br /> consulting engineer <br /> collection agen~ or agency <br /> common crier <br /> <br /> <br />
