(e) (5) Sanitary and ~ste refuse storage and collection facilities shall be provided ~on the lot or parc. el and shall be screened from view. Such storage and collection facilities shall be of a type that are dog, cat, redent and rennin-proof. The fo~owing off-street parkdnqg requirements shall apply Lu the Historic District: (1) D%,elling structures shall .have one space ~6r each dw~iling unit. (2) Professional Offices shall have one space for each 500 sq~re feet of gross floor area plus adequate additional spaces as determlr~d by the City Plannir~ C~ssion in consideration of the character of the build%ng after s'~mmission of the site plan. (3) .No part of the par~_~ng space required by this article shall exist ,- upon, and no part of any v~nicle sb~]] extend over ti~e right-of way of any public road, alley, street, walkway or mall. Off-street par'zirg in front yards is prohibited except as normally exists in d[riv~ays. Parkirg spaces sh~ l be provided on the same lot with the main ~uildirg or not mere than 250 feet distant, as measured alone the nearest pedestrian ~.~ay, provided t_hat such area is under public ownership or the ownership of the principal use. (5) ParkinE requiraments for two or more uses may be provided 'by establishment of the req~Hred number of spaces for each use in a cca~uon park~ area, pro¢~ded that all uses being served by the con~uon parkirg area are unaer s&~e ownership or public ownership.
