Section 14. Part Time Employees. <br /> <br /> Any person em~_~ loyed on a ~art time basis shall receive compensation <br />as prescribed by the City ~ager. <br /> <br />Section 15. Overtime. <br /> <br /> (a) Any employee ~Hnose ra~e of pay is fixed on a montb~iy basis <br />shall not receive any compensation for extra or overtime work, except in <br />cases of emergency. Any extra compensation allotted by a department head <br />must be i~ advance of the performance of the work and with the approval <br />of the City M~ger; the same to be enteredby the department head on the <br />next succeedin~ payroll submitted to the City Auditor. <br /> <br /> (b) Any employee whose rate of pay is fixed on an hourly basis <br />shall not receive any compensation for extra or overtLme work, except <br />in eases of emergency. Ail such employees performirg emergency work <br />at night, on week ends, or at other t~an vhe normally scheduled work <br />period, shall be paid for a minLmum of two hours at the overtime rate, <br />which shall be one and one-half times the straight hourly rate. <br /> <br /> (c) Any employee whose note of pay is fixed on anho~_~ly basis <br />who is required ~o work on a holiday s~all be paid for the straight <br />hours worked, plus the normal pay for one day's work. <br /> <br />Section 16. Salary. Adjustments. <br /> <br /> Salary adjustments to higher steps within a pay grade shall become <br />effective upon the first day of July in each year. <br /> <br />Section 17. Allowances. <br /> <br /> The rate of pay sev forth in the schedule shall be deemed to include <br />the ~11 cm~pensation of the e~ployee, ~nd the value of any allowances made <br />to the employee by the City shall be considered as a psat of his compensation. <br /> <br />Section 18. Salaries for unclassified ~ositions. <br /> <br /> The a~nual salaries of the following unclassified positions shall be <br />the ~mounts herein stated: <br /> <br />(a) City ~ager <br />(b) Clerk of the Co~rt of Hustings <br />(c) Clerk of the Circuit Court <br />(d) City Assessor <br />(e) Jud~e - M~nicipa! Court <br />(f) Judge - Juver~le & Domestic <br /> Relations Court <br /> <br />25,000,00 <br />15,600.00 <br />15,000.00 <br />18~000.00 <br />16~100.00 <br /> <br />16,100.00 <br /> <br />-16- <br /> <br /> <br />
