(d) Maintenance of ~other water service cor~neetions. <br /> <br /> Except as provided in subsection (c) above, any~ter service line <br />or segment thereof for ~nich the payment or deposit herein specified shall <br />not have been paid shall be owmed andmaintained by the owmer or temnt of <br />the premises served thereby. Failure to maintain any such service line in <br />accordance with the standards of the department of public utilities shall <br />be cause for discontinuing service. (0nd. No. 1966-108, 12-27-66, § 1.) <br /> <br />Section 37A-40. Depositing filth, etc., on property of water department. <br /> <br /> No person shall deposit any filth, ar~mal or vegetable matter, <br />chips shavings or any other substance on the property of the department <br />of public utilities. <br /> <br />Article II. Fldoridation of Water Supply <br /> <br />Section 37A-41. Introduction of scdium fluoride. <br /> <br /> ~he depar~nent of public utilities shall introduce sodium fluoride <br />into the city water supply in such quantities as are required tom aintain <br />throughout the pipe distribution system a fluoride ion concentration of <br />approximately one. part per million. Water containing natural fluoride <br />may be used in lieu of sodium fluoride. (Ord. No. 1966-108j 12-27-66, ~ 1.) <br /> <br />Section 3ZA-42, Records <br /> <br /> The department of public utilities shall keep an accurate daily re- <br />cord sho~irg, for each supply of sodium fluoride, the number of gallons <br />treated and the fluoride ion concentration of the ~ater before and after <br />treatment. (Ord. No. 1966-108, 12-27-66, § 1.) <br /> <br />Section 37A-43. Determination of fluoride ion concentration. <br /> <br /> The depar~nent of public utilities shall determine the fluoride ion <br />concentration in the water ~istribution system at such points and at such <br />intervals as may be deamed necessary or_ as directed by the state department <br />of health. (ord. No. 1966-i08, 12-27-66, ~ i.) <br /> <br />2.
