I hereby apply to thePortsmouth Department of Public Utili- ties ~or a supply of ~ter for Premises No ......... Street, between .................... Street and .... ][]]]]]]]]]][] Street, I agree to pay for all water furnished on said premises at the rate now or hereafter established, and all se~age disposal charges assessed against the said premises in accordance with the ordinances governing se~ge disposal charges, and that the water shall be used on the premises only, and without waste, and to be bound in all things by the stipulation and conditions of water supply now or hereafter embraced in the City Code, and the rules which may be from time to time adopted; and to permit the agent of the depart- ment of public utilities, at all reasonable times to visit and inspect the described premises. It is understood and agreed that the Cit~ of Portsmouth shall not be liable in the event of the stoppage of the water supply and that if water is wasted on account of leaky pipes or fixttu~es or any other cause or if rater bills and sevm~ge disposal bills are not paid at the proper time or for a violation of any other rule of the depart- ment of ~ublic utilities, the department s~llha'~e the right to cut off the ~-ater at any time; other~.~se this contract s~_hatl continue i~ force until cancelled in v~iting ~y me.
