v~se and superintend the general condition of the water system and sewage systam and the laying out, construction, ~inter~nce and repair of. the same under the direction of the city manager. He shall systematically arrange and keep in his office all the papers of his department. Section 37A-3. Application for water service. Any person desiring to secure water service shall file a signed ap- plication therefer at the office of the department of public utilities on the prescribed form, stating the location and character of premises for which service is desired. (Ord. No. 1966-108, 12-27-66, Section 37A-5. Execution of contract and payment of fee prerequisite to connection with water main. Whenever a service co.~nection with a city rater main is requested~ the owner of the property to be connected with such rater main before such service cor~nection is made shall be required to s'~gn a contract prepared for the purpose and kept in the office of the department of public utilities containirg the provisions as set forth in section 37A-6. A separate contract shall be required for each premises as defined in section 37A-4. Tne charge for the service connection must be paid in advance. (Ord. No. 1966-108, 12-27-66, § 1.) Section 37A-6.
