Not prorated. <br /> <br />Section 79. Pawnbrokers: <br /> <br /> ~Every person engaging in the business of a pa~,aabroker shall <br />pay a license tax of $450.00 per amnum. <br /> <br /> For the purpo~ se of this section a pawr~roker shall be deemed <br />to mean any person whc shall im ~_ny m~z~ner lend or advance money or <br />other tb_in~s for profit on the pledge and possession of personal <br />property or-other valuable thi~ other than securities or written or <br />printed evidences of indebtedness, or who deals in the purchasing of <br />personal property or other valuable things on condition of seltim~ <br />the same back to the seller at a stipulated price. <br /> <br /> No license issued under this section shall be proratable or <br />tramsferable. <br /> <br />Section 80. Peddlers: <br /> <br /> Peddlers of market proJ~uce, m~d re,ors of soft drinks, bread, <br />fruits, nuts, confectioneries, ice cremm, tea, coffee, sold on the <br />streets or in other public places, $150.00 per arm.-mm , for each <br />dray, automobile, ~gon, wheelbarrow, F~sh cart, or other vehicle used, <br />in addition to the regular tax on wagon, wheelbarrow, push ca_~b, or other ve- <br />hicIe used, in addition to the regular tax on wagons. <br /> <br />Peddlers selling ice cre~am from push carts only, $30.00. <br /> <br />Peddlers sel~ling fish only, $80.00. <br /> <br /> All peddlers not otherwise taxed~ $100.00 per week for each auto- <br />mobile, wagon, vehicle or other means of peddling. <br /> <br /> No peddler shall be pe~tted while doir~ business as a peddler, <br />to keep his vehicle Ln one location on the.streets for a longer period <br />than ten m~tes, ~nd shall not ma]~e sales in front of a place of b~si- <br />ness where business s~mi!ar ~o that conducted by the p~ddler is trains- <br />acted. Lnypersoo ~oiatirg vhe provisior~ of this section shall be <br />subject to a fine of five dollars for each offense. <br /> <br /> Each person sellir~ ice, coal, woed, or melons by retail from <br />ice, wood, or coal boxes, $t0.00. <br /> <br /> Each person sellir~ wood, coal, or otbmr fuel or ice from <br />wagor~s, $20.00 on each wagon~ Ln addition to the regular ta~ on ~ragons. <br /> <br /> <br />
