Ford have ~ade application to vacate, close and discontinue <br />the hereinafter described alley~ and <br /> <br /> ~F~S~ by resolution of this Council, adopted June 10, 1969, <br />viewers were sppointed purse, ant to Section 15.1-364 of the Code of Vir- <br />ginia, 1950~ as ~nded to view the hereinafter described alley, and to <br />report in ~iting ~.Ynether in their opinion, any, and if any, what ~ncon- <br />ve~ience would result from discontinuing the hereinafter described alley; <br />s~nd <br /> <br /> ~S, the said viewers have reported in writing that in <br />their opi~nion no inconvenience would result from closing and discon- <br />tinuir~ said alley. <br /> <br /> NOW~ ~r~RE, BE IT 0RDAI~fED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that all that certain alley twelve and one-half <br />feet in ~ridth and lying between the rear of Lots 18 and 19, in Block <br />"A,'~ as sho~ on the Plat of Highland Park, and the western line of <br />Lot 17 in said Block and extending back from Baldwin Avenue in a north- <br />erly direction to the limits of ~aid Plat~ be~ and the same is hereby <br />closed and vacated as a public alley. <br /> <br /> Adopo~d by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held July 8, 1969. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
