AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 4-2 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1961, PERTAINING TO FIRE LIMITS OR DISTRICTS WITHIN THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH. Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Ports- mouth, Virginia: i. That section 4-2 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1961, be amended and reordained to read as follows: Sec. 4-2. Fire limits or districts. The fire limits or districts of the city shall be as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the south- ern line of Wythe Street with the pierhead line in the Southern Branch of the Elizabeth River as established by the U. S. Army Englneers; thence westerly along the southern line of Wythe Street to the center line of First Street; thence northerly along the center line of First Street to the center line of the main line track of the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad; thence westerly along the main line track of the said railroad to the center line of Effingham Street; thence northerly along the cenuer line of Effingham Street to the center line of South Street; thence westerly along the center line of South Street to the center line of Richmond Avenue; thence northerly along the center line of Richmond Avenue to the center line of the main line track of the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad; thence westerly along the main line track of the said railroad to its intersection with the center line of the mazn line track of the Norfolk and Ports- mouth Belt Line Railroad; thence northerly along the center line of the main track of the Norfolk and Portsmouth Belt Line Railroad to the center line of London Boulevard; thence egsterly along the center line of London Boulevard to the pierhead line as established by the U. S. Army Engineers; thence southerly along said pierhead line as it meanders along the Southern Branch of the Elizabeth River to the point of beginning.
