(a) The ' ' of <br /> n~oer each parking meter which ' ~' <br /> zn~lcated <br />that the vehicle occupying the parking space adjacent to such <br />parking meter is or has been parked zn violation of any of the <br />provisions of this article. <br /> <br />(b) The state license ni~foer of such vehicle. <br /> <br /> (c) The length of <br /> ~z~ aurmng which such vehicle ms <br />parked, mn violation of any of the <br /> p~o-zszons of this article. <br /> <br /> (d) Any other facts, a knowledge of which is neces- <br />sary to a thorough uncersto, nmmng of the czrcmmstances attending <br />such violation. <br /> <br /> Each such police officer shall attach to such vehicle <br />a notice to the owner thereof, that suck vehicle has been park- <br />ed in violation of a provision of this article and instructing <br />such owner to report to the clerk of the municipal court, traffic <br />division of the city, in regard to such violation. Lach such <br />owner may; within seventy-two hours of the time when such notice <br />was attached to such vehicle, pay to the clerk a penalty in the <br />smm of two dollars for each hour~ or fraction thereof, during <br />which such vehicle occupied such parking space in violation o~ <br />any of the provzsions of this article; provided, however, that <br />if such penalty is paid within one hour after the notice is at- <br />tm'ched to such vehicle, then the amount of the penalty shall be <br />one dollar instead of t~o dollars. If the owner of such vehicle <br />fails to make such payment to such clerk within seventy-two <br />hours of the time when such notice was attached to such vehicle, <br />then an additional notice shall be given such owner, and an ad- <br />ditional penalty of two dollars shall be charged for the addi- <br />tional notice. The failure of such owner to pay to such clerk <br />~he penalty for the violation and the two dollars for the addi- <br />tional notice within eight days from the date of violation shall <br />render such owner s~bjec~ to the penalty provided in Section ~ <br />18-173. <br /> <br />2.
