the requirements of this chapter. <br /> <br />Sec. 9-16. Permit for electrical work - Required. <br /> <br /> It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation <br />to dc any electrical work within the-city without first obtaining <br />a permit therefor from the electrical inspector, except as follows: <br /> (a) Minor repair work, the replacement of lamps or fuses, <br />and the connection of portable devices to suitable receptacles <br />which have already been installed. <br /> (b) Certain installations peculiar to the business of <br />utility, telephone, telegraph, radio or television receiving or <br />transmitting companies. <br /> <br />Sec. 9-17. Same - Application. <br /> <br /> Applications for a permit as required in section 9-16 shall <br />be made in writing, signed by a person holding a Certificate of Compe- <br />tency as a Master Electrician, on forms provided for that purpose to <br />the electrical inspector and shall be filled out according to the <br />forms furnished. Applications will be received during office hours <br />and permits granted. No application will be acknowledged until the <br />necessary fee has been paid. <br /> <br />Sec. 9-21. Permit for electrical work - Fees Schedule. <br /> <br /> The schedule of fees referred to in section <br />fees shall be for the inspection of electrical wiring, <br />follows: <br /> <br />9-20, which <br />shall be as <br /> <br />Minimum permit fee: Which includes minor fees up to ........ $ 3°50 <br /> <br />Temporary service ........................................... 3.50 <br /> <br />Permanent service up to 100 A ............................... 3.50 <br /> <br />Permanent service 101 A to 200 A ............................ 5.50 <br /> <br />Permanent service 201 A to 400 A ............................ 7.00 <br /> <br />Permanent service 401A to 800 A ............................ 14.OO <br /> <br />Permanent service 801 A up .................................. 21.00 <br /> <br />Outlets and fixtures each .................................... 20 <br /> <br />(Ceiling, brackets, receptacles, switches, doorbell transformers, <br />all lamp sockets and fluorescent tubes, signs, etc., are covered <br />in the above schedule.) <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
