to time are specified for such purpose by ordinance, or <br />which are classified as being in the Industrial M-l, <br />Commerical C-2 and Commerical C-3 Districts under the <br />Zoning Ordinance, except that residential structures ex- <br />isting in such districts as of the effective date of "The <br />Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1961" may have <br />aboveground fuel oil and kerosene storage tanks ~n con- <br />formity with the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br /> (5) The limits referred to in section 16.61 of <br />the Fire Prevention Code, 1970 Edition, hereby adopted, in <br />which new bulk plants for flammable liquids are prohibited, <br />shall be those areas which from time to time are specified <br />by ordinance, or which are classified as being in any <br />zoning district other than the Industrial M-2 District <br />under the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br /> (6) The limits referred to in section 21.6a of <br />the Fire Prevention Code, 1970 Edition, hereby adopted, ~n <br />which bulk storage of liquefie~ petroleum gas is restricted <br />shall be those areas which from time to time are specified <br />by ordinance, or which are classified as being in any zoning <br />distric~ other than the Industrial M-2 Distric~ under the <br />Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br /> (7) The limits referred to in section 12.5b of <br />the Fire Prevention Code, 1970 Edition, hereby adopted, in <br />which storage of explosives and blasting agents is pro- <br />hibited, shall be all areas within the corporate limits of <br />the City except for such areas covered by a valid use <br />permit issued pursuant to the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br /> (8) In the even~ of conflict or inconsistency <br />between the provisions of the Fire Prevention Code, 1970 <br />Edition, hereby adopted, and the provisions of other <br />ordinances of the City, the more stringent provisions shall <br />be construed ~o control. <br /> <br /> 2.
