(3) Fifteen years, five days. <br />(4) Twenty years, seven days. <br /> <br /> (c) Annual leave may be taken between <br />January 1 and December 15 of each year with <br />the written approval of the department head <br />concerned and between December 16 and 31 of <br />each year with the written approval of the <br />department head concerned and the city mana- <br />ger. <br /> <br /> (d) Annual le'ave taken shall only be <br />charged against the normal working days of~ <br />the officer or employee concerned. <br /> <br /> (e) Ail annual leave taken must be re- <br />ported to the finance department at the end <br />of each pay period, and such shall be deduct- <br />ed from the leave account of the person taking <br />such leave. <br /> <br /> (f) The amount of annual leave to which <br />any officer or employee is entitled may be ac- <br />cumulated and carried over from year to year; <br />provided, however, that all accumulated unused <br />annual leave in excess of two years' entitle- <br />ment remaining in the leave account of the <br />officer or employee as of December 31 of each <br />year shall be automatically cancelled at the <br />expiration of such year. <br /> <br /> (g) If any officer or employee shall <br />leave the service of the city after giving <br />reasonable notice of his intention so to do, <br />he shall be enfitled to terminal leave pay <br />equal to the amount of his accumulated unused <br />annual leave; provided, however, if he shall <br />be dismissed for personal delinquency or if <br />he shall have resigned in the face of dismissal <br />or other disciplinary action, he shall forfeit <br />his right to terminal leave pay. <br /> <br />Sec. 2-37. Compensation. <br /> <br /> Ail city officers and employees shall be compensated <br />for their services in accordance with the current classification <br />and pay plan as adopted by Council. <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
