AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA, 1961 BY A~NDING SECTION 9-13.1 THEREOF PERTAIN- <br />ING TO ELECTRICAL WIRING IN FIRE DISTRICT. <br /> <br /> Be it ordained by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> (1) That the Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, 1961 be amended and reordained to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 9-13.1. Electrical Wiring in fire district. <br /> <br /> All electrical wiring within the fire district <br />as established in this code whether new installation or <br />additions, shall be metal raceways or other means accept- <br />able to the electrical inspector. This requirement shall <br />not apply to detached single family dwellings or apart- <br />ment buildings up to five dwelling units. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held June 13, 1972. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
