(15) The aggregate number and value of aircraft. (16) Tha aggregate number and value of riding horses and ponies.owned and used for pleasure and not for commer- cial purposes. (17) Tangible Personal Property used or em- ployed in trades and businesses hereinafter mentioned: Amusement Business, including theatres of every kind and clsss, auctioneers, barbers, including beauty shops, bo~.~ling, billiard and pool rooms, collection agencies, contractorss pl~bers and steam fitters, edu- cational institutions whose property is taxable under the Consti- tution and laws of this State, garage business, hospitals, hotels, ia%%udries, including cleaning, pressing and dyeing establushments, lodging and boarding houses~ motor vehicle carriers, photographs restaurants~ including eating houses and cafeterias~ shoe shining business, taxicab business, including the business of motor ve- hicle hiring, transfer business~ and undertakers and funeral di- rectors. (b) There is hereby exempted from the tax imposed by subsection (2) above, the following classes of household goods and personal effects: Bicycles. (2) Household and kitchen fu.n~ture, includ- ing gold and silver plates, plated ware, watches and clocks, sew- ing machines, refrigerators, automatic refrigerating machinery of any type, vacuum cleaners and al/ other household machinery, books, firearms and weapons of all kinds. {3) Pianos~ organs~ phonographs and record piayersv and records to be used therewith and all other musical instr~.ents of whatever kinds radio~ and'television instruments and equipment. (4) Oil paintings~ pictures, statuary, curios, articles of virtu and works of art. (5) Di~onds~ cameos or other precious .stones and all precious metals used as ornaments or jewelry. (6) Sporting and photographic equipment. (7) Clothing and objects of apparel. (8) Ali other tangible personal property used -3-
