AI~ ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODEOE THE'CITY OF PORTSMOUTH- VIR- <br />GINIA, i96!~ BY ADDING T}~ETO~ SECTIONS 19290, 19.7191,L119 92, <br />19-93, 19-94, 19~95, 19-96, 19-97, 19-98 AND 19-99 PERTAINING <br />TO COMmeRCIAL TABLE TOP RECREATION CENTERS AND THE REGULATION <br />THEREOF. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Ports.- <br />mouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> ii That the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, 1961, be amended by adding thereto Sections t9-90, 19-91, <br />19-92, 19-93, 19-94, 19-9~, !9-96~ 19-97~, 19-9.8 and 19-99, such <br />added sections to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 19-90. "Commercial Table ~Top Recreation Center" defined. <br /> <br /> A cu~:erc_al table toP~recreatlon center w~thln the <br />meaning and application Of this chapter is defined as any es- <br />tablisbm-~ent where footsbail, table tennis, shuffleboard or .any <br />like game or device is di.soia~ved for public patronage, where <br />the insertion of a coin, 's3tug or token or the pa~aent of a fee <br />is required and where two or more tables for such activity are <br />used. There is excepted from the regulations contained in this <br />chapter those establishments duly license8 and regulated by the <br />Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Cont~'ol Board. <br /> <br />Section i~-91. Same, Permit Required. <br /> <br />an establishment on the e~fective date of this ordinance shall <br />have a period of sixty (60) days from the date thereof to comply <br />with this requirement. <br /> <br />Section 19-92.
