AN ORDINANCE TO CLOSE A PORTION OF SEVENTH STREET. <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, Roy D. Taylor, Dolores Taylor, Paige M. Taylor <br />and Marilyn Taylor, have made application to vacate and close that <br />hereinafter described portion of Seventh Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by resolution of this Council adopted January <br />23, 1973, v~ewers were appointed pursuant to Section 15.1-364 <br />of the Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, to view the herein- <br />after described portion of the said street and to report in <br />writing whether in their opinion any, and if any, what incon- <br />venience would result from the discontinuing of the below de- <br />scribed street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the said viewers have reported in writing <br />that in their opinion no inconvenience would result from clos- <br />ing and discontinuing said street; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that <br /> <br /> That certain parcel of land situate in the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, and comprising <br />all of Seventh Street as shown on the plat of <br />Churchland Land Company, duly recorded in Map <br />Book 18, page 85, in the Clerk's Office of <br />the Circuit Court of Chesapeake, Virginia, <br />which lies West of Tyre Neck Road; be and <br /> <br />the same is hereby closed and vacated as a public street. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held February 27, 1973. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
