AN ORDINANCE TO A~ND SECTION 19 OF THE CLASSIFiCATiON AND PAY <br />PLAH OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH~ 1973-74, PERTAINING TO SALARY <br />OF T~E CITY ~NAGER. <br /> <br /> Be it ordained by the Council of the City of Ports- <br />mouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That the Classification and Pay Plan of the City <br />of Portsmouth, !973-74~ be ~ended by amending Section 19 there- <br />of, such amended section to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 19. <br /> <br />Salaries for unclassified pos_tlons. <br /> <br /> The annual salaries of the following unclassified <br />positions shall be the amounts herein stated: <br /> <br />(a) City Manager <br />(b) Chief Clerk of Circuit Court <br />(c) Clerk of Circuit Court <br />(d) City Assessor <br />(e) City Attorney <br />(f) City Auditor/Clerk <br /> <br />$35~000 <br /> 21,382 <br /> 15,891 <br /> 24~!90 <br /> 20~475 <br /> 19,864 <br /> <br /> 2. That the salary of the City Manager as amended <br />t above shall be retroactive to the first day of ~'~ <br /> Ap~ !974~ <br /> <br /> 3.
