appearance and repair. <br /> <br /> 3) Failure to pay the parking fee herein <br />provided for~ or personal property tax~ licenser tax or other <br />fees or taxes due to the city or to the state. <br /> <br />4) Failure to maintain insurance as required <br /> <br />by law. <br /> <br /> 5) Failure to report any accident required <br />by state law. <br /> <br /> 6) Hiring any driver whose taxicab driver's <br />permit has been revoked. <br /> <br /> 7) Using and knowingly permitting the use <br />of a taxicab for the illegal sale or purchase of alcoholic <br />beverages° <br /> <br /> 8) Knowingly permitting the use of a taxicab <br />for prostitution, soliciting or pandering or knowingly permitting <br />a taxicab to transport persons to houses of ill fame. <br /> <br /> 9) Wilful or continued failure to comply with <br />the provisions of this article or any other ia~ or ordinance <br />regulating the operation of public vehicles and taxicabs within <br />the city. <br /> <br />10) Conviction of a felony. <br /> <br />11) Conviction of larceny. <br /> <br />12) Conviction of driving while intoxicated. <br /> <br /> 13) Failure to have each taxicab in operation <br />a minimum of thirty (30) days per calendar quarter. <br /> <br /> (b) Upon failure of said ov~er or operator to comply <br />with the above grounds or any administrative requirements of this <br />division within one hundred and eighty (180) days from said sus- <br />pension of the certificate of public convenience and necessity, <br />the said certificate of public convenience and necessity shall <br />be revoked. <br /> <br />Section 37-80. Use. <br /> <br /> Taximeters shall be in use at all times within the <br />city limits when passengers are being transported except when <br />the taxicab is hired on an hourly basis or when the taxicab is <br />engaged within the city for a trip to a destination outside of <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
