AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, <br />1973, BY AMENDING SECTION 40-71 OF SAID CODE PERTAINING TO USES <br />PERMITTED WITHIN COIvE4ERCIAL C-2 DISTRICT. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 40-71 of the Code of the City of Ports- <br />mouth, Virginiat 1973, be amended and reordained to read as follows~ <br /> <br />Section 40-71. Commercial C-2 District uses. <br /> <br /> (a) Within the Commercial C-2 District the following <br />uses are allowed: <br /> <br />Accessory uses and structures clearly incidental to a <br /> permitted use and which will not create a nuisance or <br /> hazard. <br /> <br />Agencies and offices rendering specialized services in <br /> the professions~ finance, real estate and brokerage° <br /> <br />Alcoholic beverage packaged retail sales. <br /> <br />Amusement enterprises similar to billiards, pool, bowling~ <br /> skating rink, dance hall. <br /> <br />Antiques and gift sales. <br /> <br />Appliance distributors° <br /> <br />Art supply sales. <br /> <br />Assembly halls~ coliseums, gynmasiums, stadiums and sim- <br /> ilar structures. <br /> <br />Assembly of machines and appliances from previously <br /> prepared parts. <br /> <br />Automobile and accessory sales. <br /> <br />Automobile commercial parking enterprise. <br /> <br />Automobile parking operated in conjunction with permitted <br /> uses and in accordance with the requirements of section <br /> 40-48° <br /> <br /> <br />
