(b) The authorized complement of the Police Depart- <br />ment shall be one Chief, one Assistant Chief, two Inspectors, <br />seven Captains, twelve Lieutenants, twenty-eight Sergeants, <br />and one hundred sixty-two Police Officers. <br /> <br />Section 15. Salarias for unclassified positions. <br /> <br /> The annual salaries of the following unclassified <br />positions shall be the amounts herein stated: <br /> <br />(a) City Manager <br />(b) Clerk of Circuit Court <br />(c) City Assessor <br />(d) City Attorney <br />(e) City Clerk <br /> <br />$37,600. <br /> 26,062. <br /> 31,5OO. <br /> 31,500. <br /> 24,190. <br /> <br />The City Attorney and two (2) Assistant City <br />Attorneys shall receive an additional Three Thousand and ~o/100 <br />($3,000.00) Dollars each annual compensation from the Portsmouth <br />School Board for professional services rendered. <br /> <br />Section 16. Uniform allowances. <br /> <br /> Any employee who is required by his depar~ent <br />head to wear a uniform in the regular performance ok his <br />official duties shall be furnished three (3) changes~f such <br />uniform each week. Any employee who desires any additional <br />changes shall assume the additional cost thereof and the City <br />shall withhold from the employee's salary an amount sufficient <br />to offset the cost thereof. This Section shall not be <br />applicable to employees of the police division or fire <br />division of the City. <br /> <br />Section 17~ Flight Pay. <br /> <br /> Police Department Helicopter Pilots shall recezve <br />a flight pay allowance in the amount of one hundred ($100.OO) <br />Dollars per month. <br /> <br />Section 18. Adjustments of retirement allowance. <br /> <br /> The adjustments of retirement allowances as pre- <br />scribed in Section 31-68 and 31-155 shall be increased five <br />(5%) percent. <br /> <br />Section 19. Repeal of Conflicting Ordinances. <br /> <br /> Ordinance No. 1975-232 is hereby repealed effective <br />June 30~ 1976. <br /> <br /> <br />
