AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND 'l'~iM CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTS~OUT~, VIRGINIA, <br />1973, BY AM~DIKG SECTION 38~77 (b), PERTAINING TO CHAR~F~q FOR TREA5~4ENT <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAtAIED by ~he Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 38-77 (b) of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, 1973, be amended to read as follows: <br /> <br /> (b)~ Charges for treatment of sewage by the City will be based <br />upon the water coF~sumed on the premzses as ~asured by ~ters used for <br />this purpose, and shall be at the rate of Fifty Tw~ ($0.52) Cents per <br />One Hundred (100) cubic feet, for custom, rs witl~in %hs City of Ports- <br />mouth. ~ae tminimum monthly charge shall be Or~ and 50/100 ($1.50) . For <br />custc~ers outside the City of Portsmouth, the rates shall be Fift-3- Two <br />($0.52) Cents per One Hundred (100) cubic feet. The minimum monthly <br />charge shall be One ~nd 50/100 ($1.50). <br /> <br />2.
