AN ORDINA~CE TO AMEND THE CLASSIFICATION IN THE PAY PLAN PERTAINING TO <br />~l~ SALARM OF THE CI~/ CT,R~K. <br /> <br /> RE IT O~ by the Council of the City of Portsmout/1, Virginia: <br /> <br /> t. That Section 15 of the Classification Pay Plan of the City' of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, Ordinance No. 1976-69, is amended and reordained, <br />such amended section to read as follows: <br /> <br />Sectien 15. Salaries for unclassified positions. <br /> <br /> The annual salaries of the following unclassified positions shall <br />be in the amounts hereinafter stated: <br /> <br />(a) City Manager $37,600. <br />(b) Clerk of the Circuit Court 26,062. <br />(c) City Assessor 31,500. <br />(d) City Attorney 31,500. <br />(e) City Clerk 10,500. <br /> <br /> The City Attorney and two (2) Assistant City Attorneys shall receive <br />an additional Three Thousand and No/100 ($3,O00.) Dollars each, annual <br />oa~gensation frcm the Portsmouth School Board for professic~al services <br />rendered. <br /> <br /> 2. This ordinance shall be effective April 1, 1977. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a <br />meeting held March 22, 1977. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
