SPACE LAND USES. <br /> <br />BE IT O~ by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 40-45 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />be ~r~nded to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 40-45. Off-street autc~obite parking. <br /> <br /> ~aere off-street automobile p~rking is re~]~red as stated under the <br />dimensional re~l~rements of a particular zoning district, parking spaces <br />shall be constructed a~J permanently maints/ned for owners or occupants <br />and their invi~ees and licensees as follows: <br /> <br />Use of buildings <br /> <br />Mirnimum number of perking <br /> spaces <br /> <br />One, two-family and <br />townhouse dewllings <br /> <br />1 space for each dwelling unit. <br /> <br />Multi-family dwellings <br /> <br />1.25 spaces for each dwelling unit. <br /> <br />Hotels <br /> <br />1 space for each of first 20 sleep- <br />lng rocks, plus 1 space for each 4 <br />rocks over 20. <br /> <br />Tourist hc~es, motels <br /> <br />1 space for each guest bedroom <br />plus adequate additional space as <br />determined by the planning ~ <br />mission for meeting rocks after <br />submission of site plan. <br /> <br />LodgLng, rocming and <br />boarding houses <br /> <br />1 space, for each 2 guest <br /> <br />' Private clubs and lodges <br /> <br />Adequate spaces as determined by <br />the planuing c~,.~ssion after <br />suhnission of site plan. <br /> <br />Hospitals <br /> <br />1 space for each 3 patient b~ds, <br />plus 1 additional space for each <br />:staff or visiting doctor, plus 1 <br />additional space for each 3 erm- <br />ployees including nurses. <br /> <br /> <br />
