TO PORI~MDUI~t BO~rIASrARD FOR A DIStaNCE OF APPROXIMA~'~uY <br />75'. <br /> <br /> WCL~F&~AS, Dails, Inc. has made application to vacate, close and <br />discontinue the hereinafter described portion of a cer~a~o alley; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution of this Council adopted J.unae 14, 1977, <br />viewers were appointed pursuant %o Section 15.1-364, Code of Virginia, <br />1950, as amended, to view f/le hereinafter described po_~+_ion of said <br />alley and to report in writing whether in their opznion any, and if any, <br />what inconvenience ~oukld result frc~a discontinuing the below described <br />alley; and ._ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the said viewers have reported in wri~in_g that in their <br />opirmon no inconvenience would result frc~ the closing and discontinuing <br />of said alley. <br /> <br /> NOW, ~/~EREFORE, ~E IT ORDAINSD by the Council of the City of Pot%s- <br />mouth, Virginia, that that portion of said alley hereinafter described, <br />be closed and vacated as a public alley: <br /> <br /> 12 ' Alley <br /> <br /> A 12' alley beginning approximatoly 143' east of <br />the southeast corner of Portsmouth Boulevard and <br />hawk Drive, said alley extending southward and per- <br />pendicular to Portsmouth Boulevard for a distance of <br />appro 'xlmately 57'; thence extending west and parallel <br />to Portsmouth Boulevard for a distance of approximate- <br />ly 75'. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a <br />~aeeting held September 27, 1977. <br /> <br />city Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
