AN ORDINANCE CLOSING 9~{E FOLLOWING STR~WI': A PORTION OF ROBIN HOOD <br />AVENUE (S-77-9). <br /> <br /> ~, Brian K. Spivey and Lone Star ID~ustries have made ap- <br />plicatlon to ~acate, close and discontinue the hereinafter described <br />portion of a cer~n street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution of this Council adopted April 26, 1977, <br />viewers were appointed pursuant to Section 15.1-364, Code of Virginia, <br />1950, as amended, to view the hereinafter described portion of said <br />street and to report in writing whether in their opinion any, ao~ if <br />any, w~at incc~venience would result frcm discontinuing the below <br />described street; and <br /> <br /> BR~EREAS, the said viewers have reported in writing that in their <br />opinion no inconvenience would result frc~ the closing and discontinuing <br />of said street. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />Ports~aouth, Virginia, that that portion of said street hereinafter <br />described, be closed and vacated as a public street: <br /> <br />ROBI%] HOOD AVENUE <br /> <br /> All that certain piece, parcel of land or street lying <br />and being in the City of Portsmouth known as Robin Hood Avenue <br />located between the southern side of Adams Street and the <br />mean low water mark of the Western Branch of the Elizabeth <br />River. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURT~R.R ORDAINED that the s~ is hereby closed and vacated <br />as a public street, that the' City of Portsmouth reserves unto itself <br />perpetual easements, rights, and privileges to install, maintain, operate <br />and replace sewer drains, sewer mains, sanitary sewers, storm drains, <br />water mz~ns and laterals within, over, under and across those portions <br />of t~mbin Hood Avenue heretofore described. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council_ of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a <br />meeting held June 28, 1977. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
