RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF MIDDLE <br />~STREET BETWEEN COUNTY STREET.ON ~HENO~TH AND COLUMBIA ST~HE~ <br />~ON T}~ SOUTH. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Au- <br /> thority has.made application to vacate and close the herein- <br /> after described portion of a certain street and it appearing <br /> that notice of the application and request for the' appointment <br /> of viewers was duly posted on May 1, 1975 on the bulletin board <br /> of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, City Hall Build- <br /> lng, and the General District Court, Civil Division of the City <br /> of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br /> Cit~'0f Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, Zalmon <br /> Blachman, C. L. Robinson, Robert Reid and Charlie Hudgins be <br />~'appointed viewers to view the hereinafter described portion of <br /> such street and report to this Council in writing whether in <br /> their opinion any, and~ if any, what inconvenience would result <br /> from vacating..and closing the following: <br /> <br /> BEGINNING at a point marked by a P.K. Nail <br /> in walk in the South right of way line of <br /> County Street 87"11'34" W - 354.21 feet from <br /> - the southwest intersection of right of ways <br /> of County and Crawford Streets; thence along <br /> west line of property now or formerly of Ports- <br /> mouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority <br /> _. S 3"34'37" E - 225.51 feet to a chisele~ cross; <br /> thence along the north right of way line of <br /> ~Columbia Street S 87"14'28" W - 59,0 feet to <br /> an iron pan, thence along east line of property <br /> _now or formerly of Portsmouth RedeveIopment and <br /> ~, - Housing Authority N 3"32'08" W - 225.47 feet to <br /> a P.K. Nail in walk; thence along the-south <br /> right of way line of County Street N 87"11'34" <br /> E - 38.85 feet~to the P.K.
