individual units in each such building. The board shall <br />meet at such times as may be required. Three (3) members <br />of the board shall constitute a quorum and each application <br />must be approved by at least a majority vote of the board. <br />A chairman shall be elected by the board. <br /> <br /> (ii) The Board, when it approves an application, <br />shall forward same forthwith to the City Clerk to be placed <br />on the City Council Agenda under new business at the next <br />Council meeting. <br /> <br /> (d) The Council of the City of Portsmouth shall <br />consider approved recommendations of the Portsmouth Housing <br />Development Board, and if it concurs with the recommendation, <br />it shall adopt a resolution-directing the application to the <br />Virginia Housing Development Authority and requesting said- <br />authority to ~mpl'ement procedures necessary to develop such <br />approved housing application. <br /> <br /> (2) This ordinance shall be effective on the date of <br />.its adoption. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, at a meeting held September 12~ 1978. <br /> <br />Teste: ~ <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
