(2) <br /> <br />When more than one connection is made to a <br />residential, commercial or industrial build- <br />ing, the charge for each such additional <br />connection will be the charge applicable to <br />the type of building served. <br /> <br />(3) <br /> <br />When a sewer does not exist in the street <br />adjacent to a building site, sewer lines may <br />be installed by the City to serve such site <br />for which the owner of such site shall pay <br />the actual cost plus fifteen (15%) percent, <br />unless the Council shall other~ise direct. <br /> <br />(4) <br /> <br />(a) <br /> <br />When in the ordinary course of business <br />a portion of a sewer collection system <br />is replaced, as part of routine main- <br />tenance and there occurs no improvement <br />to the sewer collection system, no sewer <br />connection fee shall be charged. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />When a substandard sewer collection system <br />connected to a treatment facility is <br />taken out of service and a new owner <br />collection .system connected to a treat- <br />ment facility replaces such substandard <br />collection system, a sewer connection <br />fee shall be charged in ~the appropriate <br />stun charged at the time improved service <br />was made available, but not to be less <br />than sixty dollars ($60.OO) m <br /> <br />(e) Water connection fees. The water connection fees shall <br /> be as set forth by the Portsmouth City Council. <br /> <br />(f) Sewer connections generally: <br /> <br />The plumbing inspector shall issue permits and <br />make inspections for connections to the City <br />sewers. A record shall be kept of all sewer <br />connections and inspections. All sewer connect- <br />ions shall be provided with a clean-out at the <br />curb or as near thereto as practicable~ <br /> <br /> <br />
