AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, BY AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE Z-79-8 (5). BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: 1. That the portion of the Zoning ~4ap attached to and made a part of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Portsmouth~ Virginia, ~973, which n~w zones as~Commercial C-2 and Residential R-75~ is hereby amended and ~hangea so a! to show said property zoned as R-75-S, and that said property is hereby zoned as ~ R-75-S. 2~ The property affected by this ordinance is described as follows: Beginning at the centerline of Wool Avenue, approximately 100 feet south of the south right of way line of High Street; thence east to the centerline of Watson Street; thenc9 north along said centerline 20 feet; thence east 130 feet~ thence south 360 feet; thence east 220 feet; thence south- east to the c~nterline of Van Dyke Street; thence northwest along said cen~erline to the centerline of Romanesque Street; thence nort~esterly along said center!ine to the centerline of Belle Street~ thence south- west along said centerline 800 feet; thence in a northwesterly direction to the center- line of Wool ~venue~ thence southwest along said centerline 140 feet; thence northwester- ly 130 feet; thence southwesterly to the centerline of Larchwood Street; thence north- ~est~rly 250 feet,- thence northeasterly 170 feet; 'thence ~orth to the north line of Power Street; thence east 35 feet; thence north 96 feet; thence west 125 feet; thence south 138 fee~; thence west 50 feet; thence north 6 feet; thence west 6 feet; thence south to the Centerline of Power Street; thence west along said centerline to the centerline of Hamilton Avenue; thence north along said centerline to the centerline of Watson Street; thence west 140 feet; thence north 280 feet; thence west 100 feet; thence northeast 20 feet; thence east to the center- line of Chancellor Street and running west - along said centerline to the centerline of Wool Avenue.
