AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, <br />VIRGINIA, i973~ BY AMENDING SECTION 38-33 PERTAINING TO <br />WATER METER RATES. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of ~he City Of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 38-33 of the Code of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, be amended and reordained to <br />read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 38-33. Meter Charges. <br /> <br /> The meter charges set out in the following table shall <br />be paid by water consumers for the several sizes of meters. <br />This charge shall be paid for each of the premises whose <br />occupants take water from the service pipe: <br /> <br />Meter Size <br /> <br />Payment <br />Per Month <br /> <br />5/8" <br /> <br />3" <br />4" <br />6" <br />8" <br /> <br />................................... $ 1.50 <br /> <br />................................... 12.O0 <br />................................... 20.00 <br />................................... 32.00 <br />................................... 60.00 <br />................................... 130.00 <br />................................... 200.00 <br />................................... 300.00 <br /> <br /> No water consumption will be allowed for the meter charges <br />stated herein. <br /> <br />2.
