Section 5. Monies paid to the retired school teachers <br />shall Re 'termed as gratuity and only as a te~pora~y~easure. <br />If th~ 'State 'of ~g~n~a takes over this responsibility, this <br />gratuity will cease. <br /> <br /> Section 6. To the extent that any monies in the accounts <br />of the School Board derived from sources other than the State <br />of Virginia are unexpended at the end of the fiscal year 1981-82, <br />and, thus, become available for use the next fiscal year, the <br />City's share of the appropriation made for education and <br />scholarships for the next ensuring year shall be decreased <br />by a like amount~ <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia,z <br />at a meeting held May 12, 1981. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
