Section 14-24. Preearation of cersain materials for collection. <br /> <br /> (a) PAPER: it shall be unlawful for any oerson to place <br />any paper for collection by the City w±thout placing the same in <br />a receetacle or refuse bag complying with Sect!on 14-22 or having <br />the same securely bundled so that ~he paper cannot be blown or <br />scattered about the strees. <br /> <br /> {b} CARTONS, BOXES : Et shall be unlawful for any person <br />to place for collection by the City any empty or discarded <br />corrugated sartons or paper or easteboard boxes of any kind <br />wlthout first preparing them by flattenin9 and securely tying <br />%hem in bundles not exceeding seventy (70) pounds in weight, <br />with strong, stout cord. <br /> <br /> c) VEGETATION: Yard trash, including accumulations of <br />lawn, grass or shrubbery cuttings or c!ipp}ngs and dry leaf <br />rakings, free of dirt, rocks, large branches and buikv or <br />non-combustible material shall be placed in a receetacle or <br />refuse bag complying with Section 14-22. It shall be unlawful <br />to rake, sweep or place yard trash into or onto ~he street, <br />curb, gutter or drainage structure. <br /> <br /> (d) SMALL DEAD ANIMALS: Small dead animals will be collected <br />by the City during normal operating hours erovided the body is <br />placed in a properly sealed plastic or poleythylene refuse bag. <br />and placed as near to the curb as possible or between the sidewalk and <br />the curb. <br /> <br />Section 14-26. Positioning of materials for collection. <br /> <br /> Ail garbage, trash, paper, corrugated cartons, paper or <br />pasteboard boxes~ mnd other waste, to be removed by the city <br />under this article shall be placed on the sidewalk as near 5o <br />the curb as possible or between the sidewalk and the curb, <br />excepm where public alleys are provided, in which instance, <br />refuse for collection shall be ~laced in such alley.
