ZONING AMENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-81-9 <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1. That that portion of the Zoning Map attached to <br />and made a part. of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Ports- <br />mouth, Virginia, 1973, which now zones as Residential R-60-A, <br />the property described in Petition for Zoning ~endment No. <br />Z-81-9, is hereby amended and ~changes so as to show said pro- <br />perty zoned as Waterfront W-t-K Conditional, and that said <br />property is hereby zoned as Waterfront W-t-K Conditional. <br /> <br /> 2. The property affected by this Ordinance is described <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning on.the south side of C~awford Parkway <br />50', more or less, east from its intersection with <br />Court Street; thence south 72.30'; thence east 7.86'; <br />thence south 396.65'; thence east 57.73'; thence <br />north 50.54'; thence east 66.50'; thence north 59.38'; <br />thence east 114.90'; thence north 40.60~; thence <br />west 45'; thence north 297.67' to the south right-of- <br />way of Crawford Parkway; thence west along said <br />right-of-way 199.45' to the point of origin. <br /> <br /> 3. Zoning Ordinance ~nuendment Z-81-9 is conditioned <br />upon the following: <br /> <br /> (a~ The use of the property and its improvements <br />shall be limited to the parking of vehicles owned by employees <br />of the downtown Holiday Znn Motel, Crawford Parkway, Portsmouth, <br />Virginia; the parking of construction vehicles and equipment <br />and materials related to the present expansion of the said <br />motel; and valet parking o~ vehicles of visitors and over- <br />night guests at said motel. <br /> <br /> ~b) The use of the property for the aforesaid purpose <br />shall commence on the 'date of the passage of an emergency ordinance <br />by City Council for this purpose at the August 25, 1981 meeting <br />of City Council and continue until December i, 1981, unless said <br />date is extended by said City Council. <br /> <br /> (c) The property shall be landscaped and graded in <br />a manner prescribed by the appropriate City officials as dictated <br />and agreed upon between the City and the owner. Such plans for <br />preparation of the lot for the purposes desired shall be subject <br />to the approval of the City Planning Staff. <br /> <br /> <br />
