AN ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF ALBERMARLE STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Dale G. Kline and Adela T. Kline have made <br />application to vacate and close the hereinafter-described <br />portion of Albermarle Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution of this Council adopted July <br />28, 1981, viewers were appointed pursuant to Section 15.1-364, <br />Code of Virginia, 1950, as amended, to view the hereinafter- <br />described portion of said street, and to report in writing <br />whether in their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience <br />would result from discontinuing said street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said viewers have reported in writing that <br />in-their opinion no inconvenience would result from the <br />closing and discontinuing of said street. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the hereinafter-described <br />portion of Albermarle Street be closed and vacated as a public <br />street. <br /> ALBERMAP~E STREET <br /> <br /> That portion of Albermarle Street extending <br />in a northerly direction after it intersects with <br />Greenbrier Road and then dead ending between the <br />property of Dale G. Kline and Leon C. Smith. The <br />aforesaid portion of Albermarle Street abuts the <br />property of the applicants which lies on the~orth- <br />easterly side of Greenbrier Road and is identified <br />as Parcel 377 on Tax Plate 0780.
