sixteen (16) years shall not be permitted to remain in the <br />center during normal school hours. The permittee shall post <br />sig~s 5o this effect printed in bold face letters in conspicuous <br />places within the center. <br /> <br />Sec%ion 3-39. Operating requirements. <br /> <br /> The following operating requirements shall apply to all <br />commercial recreation centers: <br /> <br /> (a) The center shall by illuminated throughout its <br />interior at a level of forty (40) footcandles. <br /> <br /> (b) The center shall have no partitioned or closed off <br />areas other than those for restroom facilities, office space <br />or storerooms. <br /> <br /> (~) The center'shall have separate restroom facilities <br />for both sexes. <br /> <br /> (d) The center shall be located on the ground level <br />floor of the building in which it is situated; and shall <br />also have a window or windows with a total of not less than <br />one hundred (1OO) square feet of glass, which shall not be <br />covered or otherwise obstructed during hours of business; <br />provided that for hotels or multi-storied shopping centers, <br />the center may be located above the second floor level. <br /> <br /> (e) The center may not be open for business between the <br />hours of 2:00 A. M. and 7:00 A. M.. <br /> <br /> (f) The center shall be at all times under the manage- <br />ment and control of a person at least eighteen (18) years of <br />age. The center shall be arranged so that the management <br />attendant is within the room where machines are located or <br />such that the management attendant(s) outside the room can <br />easily see and supervise the interior of the room. <br /> <br /> (g) Adequate space shall be provided for each machine so <br />as to allow its use without overcrowding and to prevent inter- <br />ference with pedestrian circulation on the rest of the premises. <br /> <br />Section 3-40. Penalty. <br /> <br /> Any person who shall violate or fail to comply with the <br />provisions of this Article shall be deemed guilty of a <br />misdemeanor. Each violation of a separate provision herein <br />and each day that such violation continues shall constitute <br />a separate offense. Violation of this section shall be <br />punished, upon conviction thereof, as a Clas~ ! Misdemeanor. <br /> <br /> <br />
