AN. ORDINANCE CLOSING A PORTION OF LONDON BOULEVARD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority <br />has made application to vacate, close and discontinue the <br />hereinafter-described portion of London Boulevard; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by Resolution of this Council adopted January <br />12, 1982~ viewers were appointed pursuant to §15.1-364, Code <br />of Virginia, 1950, as amended, to view tke hereinafter~described <br />portion of London Boulevard and to report in writing whether <br />in their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would <br />result from discontinuing said portion of London Boulevard; <br />and ' <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the said viewers have reported in writing that <br />in their opinion no inconvenience would result from the closing <br />and discontinuing of said street. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFOREj ~E IT ORDAINED by the Council of %he City <br />of Portsmouth, Uir~inia~ that the hereinafter'described portion <br />of London Boulevard be closed and vacated as a public street. <br /> <br />at a <br /> <br />LONDON BOULEVARD <br /> <br /> Ail that Certain portion of London'Boulevard <br />shown on the survey entitled "Plat Showing A Portion <br />Of London Boulevard To Be Closed, Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />For Mt. Addison & Associates, <br />L~d., Portsmouth, Virginia, a copy of which plat is <br />attached hereto.
