(b) Any sworn officer of the Fire or Police Departments <br /> who, in his official capacity, when not on regular <br /> assigned period of duty, is required to appear in <br /> court, shall be paid at the rate of $15.00 for the <br /> first'two hours or major portion thereof, and $7~50 <br /> for each subsequent hour or major portion thereof. <br /> <br />(c) <br /> <br />(d) <br /> <br />Any sworn officer of the Fire or Police Departments <br />who is required to wear civilian clothes in the <br />regular performance of official duties shall be paid <br />an additional $50.00 per month as clothing allowance. <br />This allowance will be paid quarterly commencing with <br />the first fiscal quarter after assignment. <br /> <br />Sworn personnel in the grades of Police Officer, <br />Police Sergeant, and Police Lieutenant shall receive <br />an allowance in the ~mount of S50.00 per month as <br />compensation for being required to wear a handgun at <br />ali times. <br /> <br />(e) <br /> <br />Police Department Helicopter Pilots shall receive a <br />flight pay allowance in the amount of $100.00 per <br />month. <br /> <br />Police Officers serving as First Class Patrol Officers <br />and Field Training Officers shall receive an allowance <br />of $35.00 per month as designated by the Chief of <br />Police and approved mn advance by the City Manager. <br /> <br />Sworn personnel in the grades of Firefighter, Fire <br />Lieutenant, and Fire Captain, who have successfully <br />completed the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) <br />courser shall receive an allowance in the amount of <br />$50.00 per month. <br /> <br />Sworn personnel in the grades of Firefighter and Fire <br />Lieutenant serving in the Fire Prevention Bureau, <br />Training Bureau, and Administrative Offices shall <br />receive an allowance of $35.00 per month as designated <br />by the Fire Chief and approved in advance by the City <br />Manager. - <br /> <br />SECTION 12. Complements of Fire Department and Police <br /> <br />Department <br /> <br />[ak <br /> <br />The authorized complement of the Fire Department shall <br />be one Chief, one Assistant Chief, eight Battalion <br />Chiefs, thirty-three Captains, thirty-five Lieutenants, <br />and one hundred twenty-five Firefigh~ers. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />The authorized complement of ~he Police Depar%raent <br />shall be one Chief, two Assistant Chiefs, one Field <br />Operations Commander, eight Captains, eleven Lieuten- <br />ants, twenty-eight Sergeants, and one hundred fifty- <br />four Police Officers. <br /> <br />-5- <br /> <br /> <br />
