ZONING'~4ENDMENT ORDINANCE Z-82-24. <br /> <br /> BE IT OPDAINED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia: <br /> <br /> 1~ That the portion of the Zoning Map attached to and <br />made a part of %he Zoning Ordinance of the City of Portsmouth, <br />1973, which now zones as Com~.ercial C-l, the property described <br />in petition for Zoning ~endment Z-82-24, is hereby amended <br />and Changed so as %o show said property as described herein <br />zoned as Residential R-60-K Conditionalf and that said pro- <br />perty as described b~rein is hereby zoned as Residential <br />R-60-K Conditional. <br /> <br /> 2~ ~ .... ~_~e_~-- r~ affected by this ordinance is described <br />as fo!lows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the southeast intersection of <br />Detroit Stree~ and Maryland Avenue; thence east <br />along the south right-of-way of Detroit Street <br />140 feet to %he western line of an alley; thence <br />south 80 feet along said alley; thence west 140 <br />feet to the e~st right-of-way of Maryland Avenue; <br />thence north along said right-of-way 80 feet to <br />Detroit Street, the point of begmnning. <br /> <br /> Zo~mn~ Ordinance Amendment Z-82-24 is conditioned upon <br />'the ~o~w~ as proffered by the petition~: <br /> <br /> (a) ~e zoning of the property located at 401-403 <br />Maryland ~%venue and described as Tax Map 134, Parcel 28, <br />should be changed from Commercial C-1 to Residential R-60-K <br />Condi~±ona!. <br /> <br /> (b) ~he use of the aforementioned property shall <br />be limited to the construction of ~ single-family or a duplex <br />or as presented, a multi-family dwelling exacting in location, <br />plan, elevation and materials to the site plan, elevations, <br />and materials submitted to the City Council as "Victorian <br />Square" by Castle Development Company. <br /> <br /> (c) Fencing or buffering and landscaping shall be <br />required and submitted with the above-mentioned site plan. <br /> <br /> {~ Prior ...... h~n~ a b~d_nw eermmt, final <br />drawings shall be submitted ~o ~he office of City Planning <br />for their review and confirmation that the site plan, landscaping <br />plan, elevations and materials are substanumally mn accordance <br />with the ~ <br /> or~inal submitted plan, elevations and materials. <br /> <br /> <br />
