(d) Shopping centers which consist of five (5) or more <br />stores, sharing a common entry and exit to the site, shall be <br />limited to one (1) above ground or ground shgpping center identi- <br />fication sign for each principal entrance. Additional wall and <br />window signs shall be permitted in accordance with the dimensional <br />requirements herein. <br /> <br /> (e) In OR-75, R-60-A, and R-M-H Zoning Districts, no <br />sign shall exceed eighteen (18) square feet in area and <br />illuminated only by the reflector method, when erected on <br />the ground, with a maximum height of four (4) feet, but <br />only within the building setback line, or mounted flat on <br />the wall of the building. <br /> <br />Section 40-291. Streets having special sign restrictions. <br /> <br /> (a) Off-premises signs are prohibited from being erected <br />along or oriented towards streets or portions thereof which <br />have been designated by the City Council as streets having <br />special sign restrictions. In designating such streets, the <br /> ak_ of the <br />City Council may consider any and/or ~l following <br />factors: <br /> <br />The promotion of highway safety; or <br /> <br />(2) The convenience and enjoyment of public travel; <br /> <br />or <br /> <br />(3) The protection of pedestrians; or <br /> <br />The attraction of tourism; or <br /> <br /> (5) <br />values; or <br /> <br />The preservation or enhancement of property <br /> <br />(6} The public health, safety and general welfare. <br /> <br /> (b) The following streets are hereby designated as <br />streets having special sign restrictions: <br /> <br /> (1) London Boulevard between its intersection <br />with Effingham Street and its intersection with High Street. <br /> <br />[2) West Norfolk Road. <br /> <br />11 <br /> <br /> <br />
