Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />that it is necessary for the City To acquire the fee simple title in and <br />To the following described ~racr of land situate in the City of Portsmoufh, <br />Virginia, for use in connection with d~ainage improvements required by the <br />widening and improvement of Airline Boulevard, Project 0058-124-101C-1, the <br />record title to said property being in the name of Tidewater Realty Company: <br /> <br />Parcel No. 018 <br /> <br /> An ~rregular shaped parcel of land beginning au the intersection of <br />the northwest line of ~¢yoming Avenue and the south line of Bruce Avenue, <br />and running thence westwardly along Bruce Avenue as it curves to the right <br />155 feet, more or less, To ~ point where the east line of Lot "R" on the <br />.Nap of Grove Park, Map Book ~0, page 61, Norfolk County Circuit Court, inter- <br />sects the south line of Bruce Avenue; thence in a southerly direction along <br />the eas~ line of said Lot "R" 48 feeT, more or less, ~o a corner of said Lot <br />"R"; thence in an easterly direction along the north line of Lot 1, Block"A, <br /> blap of Kingman Heights, 5~ap Book ~, page 21-A, Norfolk County Circuit Court, <br />161.9 feet~ more or less, to the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> Be it further resolved that the City Attorney is authorized and instruct- <br />ed* to institute condemnation proceedings ~o acquire the aforesaid property for <br />the purposes of the City. <br /> <br /> This is to certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a <br />resolution adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a <br />meeting held on June 14, 19~0. <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
