WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth~ by its City Attorney, has filed <br />an application pursuant to Section 4-2 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City <br />of Portsmouth, 1961, for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter de- <br />scribed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant, the Planning Director and the City Manager <br />have done all things required ~o be done in connection with said application, <br />and the Planning Commission has recommended the granting of said use permit. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE tT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Ports- <br />mouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />Ao That the use for which the use permit hereinafter described is <br />sought (1) will not adversely affect the health or safety of persons <br />residing or working in the neighborhood of the proposed use, (2) <br />will not he detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to pro- <br />perry or improvements in the neighborhood, and (3) will be in accord <br />with the purposes of said Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />B. That the City of Portsmouth is hereby granted a use permit, pur- <br />suant Go Section 4-2 of said Zoning Ordinance, for the construction <br />and operation of a sewer pumping station ~o be located on the north- <br />eastern seventy-five (75) feet of'Lot 80, as shoran on the plat of <br />"Pine Acres Replat," Map Book 39, page 85, Norfolk County Circuit <br />Court, said property to be purchased from Ethel D.
