A RESOLUTION CO~ENDING X. D. MUEDEN FOR <br />HIS SERVICES TO THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. X. D. Murden has served the City of Portsmouth <br />for a period of 51 years; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, during his tenure and as a result of his guidance <br />and dedication, the Portsmouth Water Department has extensively in- <br />creased the quality and c~antity of the services rendered to the <br />citizens of Portsmouth; mud . <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the citizens of Portsmouth are deeply indebted to <br />Mr. X. D. Murden for his diligence in their behalf fran which they <br />have greatly benefited. <br /> <br /> NOW, ~HEREFORE, B~ IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, this 22nd day of .October, 1968, that the <br />meaningful contributions made by Mr. X. D. Murden during his many <br />years of service to this 6ity be acknowledged with sincere grati- <br />tude and appreciaton; and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution be <br />presented to Mr. Xo D. Murden, and that it be made a part of the <br />permanent records of the ~ity. <br /> <br /> <br />
