A'RESOLU~ION GP~ANTING A USE PE~4IT FOR THE OPERATION <br />OF AN AUI~4OTIVE SER~CE STA~ZON AT ~HE COENER OF <br />WES'I'~2~ BR~2~CH BOULEVARD ~/~D HALIFAX AVENUE~ UP-68-20 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Rodman Realty Company and gmith Brothers, Inc. have filed <br />an application pursuant to Section 4-2 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City <br />of Port~nouth, 1961, for the grantirg of a use permit as hereinafter des- <br />cribed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant, the Planning Director and the City Manager <br />have done all things required to be done in connection with said application, <br />and the Planning Co~n~ission has reca~lended the granting of said use permit, <br />subject to the conditions hereinafter stated. <br /> <br /> N(Y~, ~EREF0~E, BE IT RESOL¥~D by the Council of the City of Ports- <br />mouth, Virginia; <br /> <br /> A. That the use for which the use permit hereinafter des- <br /> cribed is sought (1) will not adversely affect the <br /> health or safety of persons residing or working in <br /> the ne'~zghborhocd of the proposed use, (2) will not be <br /> detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to pro- <br /> petty or improvaments in the neighborhood anti (3) <br /> will be in accord with the purposes of said Zoning <br /> 0~dinance <br /> <br /> B. ~bat Rodman Realty Company and ~mith Brothers, Inc., <br /> are hereby granted a use permit, pursuant to Section <br /> 4-2 of said Zon~.rg Ordinance, for the construction <br /> and operation of an automotive service station in <br /> conjunction with an existing car wash facility <br /> located on the property described as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
