A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CONVEYANCE OF CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED IN PINNERS POINT ~D THE VIRGINIA STATE PORTS AUthORITY TO BE USED FOR T~']E EXPANSION OF PORTS~DUTH MARINE ~, the City of Portsmouth and the Virginia State Ports Authority entered into a certain Port Facility Contract, dated June 1, 1966, for the construction, of Portsmouth M~rine Tern~nal; and WHEREAS, it is necessary to provide for the expanSion of Portsmouth Marine Terminal; and WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Virginia State Ports Authority to hold title to the land before it may provide financial assistance for such expansion: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of PortsmouTh, Virginia, that the City ~,immager is hereby authorized, in the name of and on behalf of the City, to execute and deliver to the Virginia State Ports Authority a deed of customary fora conveying to the Authority the following described property, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized to affix the corporate seat of the City thereto and to attest the same: Parcel 1. Ali that certain lot, piece or ps~'cel of land, situate, lying and being in the City of Ports- mouth, Virginia, and further described as follows, to- wit: Beginning at the point at which the boundary line divi~mg the property of the City of Ports~ou6h. and the land now or formerly belonging to the Lehigh Portland Cement Co,any intersects the Northerly right-of-way line of Seaboar~ Avenue, and thence rurming North 4° 39' 00" West 839.85 feet to a point; thence North 4° 39' 00" West 251.18 feet to a point; .thence North 79° 47' 05" East 904.26 feet to a point; thence South 4° 39' 00" Fast 251.18 feet to a point; thence South 4° 39' 00" East 600 feet to a point;thence South 84° 5~' 20" West 750.4 feet to a point; thence South 4° 39' 00" East 319.52 feet to a point in the Northerly right- of-way line of Seaboard Avenue; thence South 84° 50' 21"
